Description

The course begins with an orientation and two 3-hour live, online classes providing an overview of the tool sets available in the HydraCAD for Revit™ and Autodesk® Revit® software programs to allow students to utilize Building Information Modeling (BIM) for exercises throughout the course. These online classes are followed by five days of in-person instruction. The course is designed for those with layout experience looking to understand the tools they utilize in-depth and gain a deeper knowledge to apply the design and installation requirements for general storage, install and calculate seismic protection, layout and calculate standpipe systems, size and select fire pumps, and apply hydraulic principles to complex wet, deluge, and preaction systems. Seismic protection and sway bracing will also be covered in detail.

• Cancellation Requests

Cancellations requested more than 30 days prior to the class start date will receive a refund minus a $150 cancellation fee.
Cancellations requested 14 – 30 days prior to class, 50% refund.
Cancellations requested 0 – 14 days prior to class will not receive a refund.

• Reschedule Requests

Reschedules requested more than 30 days prior to the class start date will result in a $150 reschedule fee.
Reschedules requested 14 – 30 days prior to class, $300 reschedule fee.
Reschedules requested 0 – 14 days prior to class, $500 reschedule fee.
