Learn about the different air supplies used in dry and preaction fire sprinkler systems. This course will discuss the different methods to fill a system with air as well as the benefits of utilizing dry air or nitrogen.
Upon completion of this webinar, participants should be able to:
- Identify the types of air permitted per NFPA 13.
- Identify the components that are required to be listed for the air supply.
- Understand and apply fill time requirements to appropriately size compressors.
- Understand and apply allowable leakage rates to appropriately size generators.
