Avoid Being Dumped for a Buck & a Truck

Avoid Being Dumped for a Buck & a Truck

Speakers:

Description

Fire Sprinkler contractors, like all construction trades are experiencing a serios lack of manpower at every level of the business. This shortage of manpower is compounded by inflation, the increasing cost of money and materials, all resulting in projects cancelled or on hold. All of these factors are holding back potentional growth and expansion opportunities and seem out of our control. They are not. Our industry needs the introduction of new blood and training programs to sustain the workforce needs of AFSA members and the industry as a whole.  This webinar will provide solutions by disussing the reality of the need to recruit, grow and retain our workforce and stop paying more per hour for mediocrity and untrained workers.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this webinar attendees will be able to:
1.    Understand the needs of the modern workforce as opposed to past practices and  experiences.
2.    Identify the cost of employee turnover and it’s impact on the company bottom line.
3.    Combine the benefits and opportunity for growth and professional development to show teammembers why staying for the long haul is more beneficial than the short term gain of a buck and a truck.
4.    Choose training programs for long term solutions to manpower needs, to become a farmer rather than a hunter.
